Join Spirit Seekers and become a paranormal investigator for the night. Make use of our specialised equipment and be guided by our experienced paranormal investigators who will share their knowledge, techniques and experiences of investigating. Got your own equipment? Bring it along and don't forget your torch! Wrap up warm as old buildings can get cold but please refrain from wearing clothing that can cause distracting sounds. Tea, coffee and snacks will be provided but feel free to bring along your own as well. We approach our investigations sceptically and logically, however, we are fully open to other beliefs and those who wish to, will be invited to join in prayers of protection before and after the event. In our pursuit of understanding the paranormal, authenticity is our guiding principle. We firmly believe in transparency and integrity, recognising the importance of delivering genuine experiences. Faking paranormal activity undermines the essence of our mission which is to explore the unexplained with honesty and respect. We leave it to you to decide. Each investigation is approached with sincerity, allowing the unknown to unfold naturally, however, as much as we try we can’t guarantee that members of the spirit world will make their presence known, but we can at least guarantee you will experience a fun and interesting night.
Charles Young Centre (South shields)
A former Presbyterian Church dating back to 1902. It’s also been used as a Sunday school, an air raid shelter and an emergency De-contamination Centre. It’s believed that a black figure seen roaming the building is unhappy with the prospect of changes being made to it. Pictures have flown from walls with screws still intact and shutters have flown open by themselves. Music players turn themselves on and people are afraid to go upstairs, feeling there’s something else up there.
