January Blues Festival are thrilled to present multi-award winning blues rock guitarist & vocalist Laurence Jones with special guest support Miguel Montalban.

Laurence Jones
is a British Blues Rock guitar sensation who appear tonight to launch his new LP 'Bad Luck and the Blues' in conjunction with MVT Cohorts. Laurence Jones has shared stages with Van Morrison, Ringo Starr, Jeff Beck, Johnny Winter, Joe Bonamassa, Status Quo, Glenn Hughes, and Vintage Trouble, amongst many others.

Buddy Guy, who has likened Laurence Jones to “a young Eric Clapton”, invited the youngster to join him onstage at the Holland International Blues Festival before an audience of 15,000. Jones has also appeared at some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including the Royal Albert Hall in London and New York’s Carnegie Hall.



Miguel Montalban 
hails from Chile and has become a YouTube sensation racking up millions of views for his sensational guitar playing whilst busking. Miguel brings his Blues-Rock band The Southern Vultures to the January Blues Festival for the first time.


The 'Bad Luck & The Blues' tour is presented by AGMP Concerts and MVT Cohorts.
