This British band originally formed back in 2003. The band members had a shared appreciation for the work of bands such as Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Nirvana, Fleetwood Mac and Kraftwerk. This resulted in their music incorporating elements of progressive, indie rock and electronic music.
With releasing their debut album 'The Dark Third' in 2006 via Sony BMG, the album hit a nerve and there was a big buzz immediately. Several tours followed including supporting Blackfield, Porcupine Tree.
In 2009 the album 'Amor Vincit Omnia' was released, followed by 'Hammer and Anvil' in 2010. But unfortunately the band decided to part ways in November 2011.

The band got together in 2019 for a festival performance at the Midsummer Prog  festival in The Netherlands. The reception and response was so overwhelmingly
positive, that the bandleader Jon Courtney decided to return back with PRR to the  scene.
This led in 2020 to the highly acclaimed comeback album ‘Eupnea’.
Followed in 2022 by the amazing ‘Above Cirrus’.

In September 2024 they will release the new album ‘Coming Up To Consciousness’ on InsideOut Music. The album is mixed by Bruce Soord (The Pineapple Thief). Guy Pratt is a guest musician on the album. He is of course well known from working with artists like Pink Floyd, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Whitesnake. To name just a few.
Another guest musician on the album is Jon Sykes (bassist of The Pineapple Thief).
